Black Veil is an instrumental duo that merges dark, cinematic soundscapes into powerful, immersive, and emotionally charged compositions. Comprised of renowned musicians, Damian Murdoch (Electric Guitar) and Dalai Cellai (Amplified Cello), Black Veil's masterful fusion of haunting cello melodies and heavy guitar riffs creates music that feels like the score to a gripping film.

Drawing from neo-classical, grunge, psychedelic, stoner, black metal, and film music influences, their work is defined by its ability to evoke powerful imagery, while taking listeners on a mesmerising journey into the depths of human emotion.

Their debut LP, "The Summoning", stands as a testament to the duo's mastery — a portal into hauntingly beautiful, and powerful introspective realms where the listener is not merely an audience, but a witness.

About the Artists

• Damian Murdoch is an Australian guitar player widely regarded for his innovative work in experimental blues, progressive rock and metal bands. His guitar playing ranges from intricate fingerpicking to explosive rhythmic riffing, adding both complexity and raw energy to the music of Black Veil. Murdoch has performed all over the world with various internationally acclaimed acts, including The Ocean Collective, and leads his own Damian Murdoch Trio and Bandito Deathlicker.

• Dalai Cellai is a Greek-Mongolian versatile cellist known for her boundary-pushing playing. Along with her film and theatre work, her dynamic range on the cello has seen her collaborate with world-renowned music productions (the Ocean, Solstafir, Dirty Granny Tales, Antiqva a.o.) establishing her as a captivating performer on stages across the world. Providing the perfect counterpart with her deeply emotional and distinctive cello playing, her ability to seamlessly move between genres infuses the music with a beautiful timeless quality.
